Dear Friends and Supporters,
I truly must thank so many of you for the support over the
last two months. For any that don't know, I do have a very
small new cancer in my spine, but we thought there might be
more and now have a sense of relief that there is nothing
extremely urgent to act on. I will need chemo again
(eventually), and I am to see a neurosurgeon in the event
that we do need to go in and operate. But there is the
option of time, and are working with other treatment
options to try to slow the growth down. Seems I needed a
haircut rather than a head shave for the moment.
Despite the small setback and time having to travel back
and forth from Winston, the Facing Forward website has been
updated. If you haven't visited in some time I do hope you
will check in and see some of the changes and additions to
the site. October is still the DVD release date,
regardless of losing this last bit of time. I have several
speaking/singing engagements this month, and it seems the
trend will continue, so if you have an event coming up that
you need a speaker/performer, please let me know as much as
possible in advance.
I have copies of my book (see link below) on hand again
now, and more on the way. Sales of them will go straight
into funding the Facing Forward site and project. If you
know someone facing a diagnosis or are simply interested
please email me here, or you may order from the website.
Copies purchased from me are ten dollars each. And I will
sign and personalize if you so request. I hope to have
additional merchandise available soon and will let you know
in subsequent newsletters.
